Frequently Asked Questions

Is Earnings Labs free?

Yes. Every page on this site — the calendar, recent results, the analyst feed, and full earnings call transcripts — is free. There are no paid tiers and no signup required.

How often is the earnings calendar updated?

The calendar updates throughout the trading day as companies announce or revise their earnings dates. Estimate data refreshes as analyst updates come in.

Where do the earnings transcripts come from?

Earnings call transcripts are sourced from licensed third-party data providers and are typically available within 24 hours of the call ending.

Why are some pages missing data?

For very small or recently listed companies, we may not yet have a full estimate or transcript history. We are continuously expanding coverage.

Do you provide investment advice?

No. All content on this site is for informational and educational purposes only. Always do your own research and consult a licensed advisor before making investment decisions.

How do I report a data issue?

Use the contact link in the footer to report inaccuracies. We track issues and prioritize fixes.

How do I find a specific company's earnings history?

Search by ticker or company name in the header search bar, or visit /stock/[ticker]/earnings directly. Each stock page shows quarterly history, estimate-vs-actual results, and links to every available transcript.

What does "BMO" or "AMC" mean on the earnings calendar?

BMO ("before market open") indicates the company reports earnings before the US market opens at 9:30am ET. AMC ("after market close") means they report after the 4:00pm ET close. Most large companies report AMC; some retailers and financials report BMO.

What is an "earnings surprise"?

The difference between actual reported EPS or revenue and the consensus analyst estimate, expressed as a percentage. Positive surprises (beats) typically lift the stock; negative surprises (misses) typically pressure it. We display the surprise % on every quarter page.

Are the AI-generated earnings call summaries reliable?

AI summaries surface key takeaways from each call, but they are generated text and may miss nuance or quote management imprecisely. Always read the full transcript for the source of truth, especially before making investment decisions.

Can I download or export earnings data?

Not currently. Pages are designed for human reading. Programmatic access via API is on the roadmap; in the meantime, the published HTML is structured with semantic markup and Schema.org JSON-LD for tooling.

How do you handle fiscal years that don't align with the calendar?

We label quarters using each company's fiscal calendar (e.g. Microsoft Q1 ends in September). When fiscal misaligns with calendar, the earnings history table includes a hover tooltip mapping fiscal Q3 2026 to calendar Q1 2026 so the timing is unambiguous.
